Without Predudice:
It seems there is a need for an independent 'as titled' thread.
Can we share, say what we would like to say, think what we want to think, even be nice to each other (optional)
(Without religion or politics) (please)(pretty please).
Think I come under the Old Crone bit.

Are you travelling once you are there- by plane or car??
I usually write an essential list- stuff I will need.
ie Underwear, swimwear, socks?, 1 pr of shoes..
then on my bed, lay whole outfits together add a few coloured belts or scarfs- handy when the weather is changeable..
I will probably think of more when you answer the above Qs..
Swimwear - are you kidding me.

lol helen..
I would pack for 1 week and then plan on washing/dry cleaning at hotels or laundries while Im there.
We travelled to 6 countries for 5 weeks and only had carryon luggage..I can be surprisingly adept at layering, and its not as if you cant buy stuff while you travel..

I "lost" a favourite top in a laundry load in Vietnam 😥
That reminds me of a friend's story.
She & her OH went to Papua - New Guinea for work.
The luxury of house persons is sometimes no luxury.
She had the best Marilyn Monroe - electrically pleated skirt.
Sent it off with the house - person (boy) for laundering.
He was extremely excited returning it to her.
'Missy, missy, got all the creases out'.
To say she was beside herself - doesn't quite cover it.

and dont forget the change in colours...lol
I usually do my own laundry for these reasons..not a big deal..
A few years ago, I went to Paris fashion week for 2 weeks work and had to survive (!) with carryon luggage-the boss told me we had to 'look fashion'*..it was the 1 pair of shoes that did my head in..so I bought a couple of pairs whilst there..haha
*yes, he really did say that.

You should have done his head in with a pair of thongs.
