I remember my mother growing Hydrangeas in different colours.
I also remember her putting something in the soil around them to change the colours but I cant remember what she put there.
Can anyone tell me please.

For Blue Hydrangeas you have to increase the soil acidity. Coffee grounds, ground up citrus peel, Sulphur.
For Pink/Red you need Alkaline soil use Wood ashes, Lime, or Dolomite.
