The puppies are coming, the puppies are coming!!!!!

We (as a family) decided back in January that this year we would get a puppy!
Miss Samantha is over 2 and the teens are waaay big enough to offer extra help as needed!

This is a BIG deal for me, Ive only ever been a "cat person"..... It's almost like the decision to have another child, very serious to me!!

Anyhoo...... My sons girlfriend has 2 King Charles Cavaliers, and they are having puppies RIGHT NOW!! 🙂
Have spoken to the girls parents and we have known for sometime that we'd be getting one of this litter (the only litter they are having).

I need to do some research on that breed and puppies in general!!!

We will spend time over their house with Miss Samantha over the coming weeks to see which puppy bonds with her best. Will be coming home to us in 6-8 weeks time ♥ 

Oh... I also have NO ideas for dog names and my teens are not being very helpful!!!!!

The owners originally told me 6 weeks, but I'm not comfortable with that, it feels too early.
We are trying to teach Miss 2 all about getting a puppy and being gentle and loving, she's a nice natured child and good with our cats so I'm not too worried.

I'm not firm on Daisy, I also like Lilly. Tend to like flower names (my eldest daughter has a flower name).
The teens have not given any decent suggestions so far!

I like Lilly better. She looks more like a Lilly. I have read where it is best to leave them with mum to about 10-12 weeks because mum can teach them things and also better for mum.

Thanks Kopen, it is one of my favourite pics of her and I have heaps lol.

What a hard decision for a name. I really like Petal but the only problem with that is if she grows to be a big Cavalier like my Millie. Lily and Lucy are lovely too. Good luck.

Soul, there will only be a few hours in 3 days per week that no-one would be home, otherwise there will be someone for her.
We plan on bringing her with us (once older & vaccinated), when we are visiting family & some friends.
