everybody has a heart attack at least once in their lives
That doesn't answer my question, which is specifically about slim persons.
poddster - slim people can have high cholesterol (bad cholesterol) they should not eat food with high fat content.

am*3 people can control their cholesterol level easily. A handful of almonds daily will reduce high cholesterol levels and are nutritious as well as being tasty ๐

A vintage Brut champagne, with a light vanilla icecream, with Madagascan vanilla, and a syrup of Grand Marnier.
Or
A rosรฉ champagne, with a hint of strawberries, with a dark chocolate icecream that is akin to a frozen moussรฉ.
That is just two off the top of my head for you ๐

Not true, for the hereditary type.
At 28, Dayna Papalia is a size 8, eats healthily and exercises regularly but has high cholesterol. A blood test a decade ago revealed her condition.
"When I tell people I have high cholesterol, they say, โYouโre not fatโ. But you can have fat arteries and be skinny," she says.
Papaliaโs grandfather died from heart disease at 55 and her mother, uncles and aunts all suffer from high cholesterol.
"I have to eat quite well. I donโt eat butter, saturated fat or processed foods, and I exercise a lot, but unfortunately itโs not enough so I have to take medication," she says.

Dark chocolate can also reduce cholesterol, but one needs to be aware of the sugar content and that chocolate is high in calories. So dark chocolate with a high cocoa and lower sugar content.
With all of these things, it is best to know what your levels are, and talk to a GP about any diet changes, that would take into account other factors you have.

I edited that post and added a bit more. My sister is very thin and has high cholesterol (Dr says could be hereditary).. a handful of almonds would not fix that.
