Patriotism is NOT allowed any more poddy, the left and greens have seen to that
That's such a silly unfounded statement nero. I have no idea how you came to that opinion, but it does you no justice at all.

Those questions do eat away at some service people after the event. Probably most service personnel are not placed in that position but the ones who are do suffer the consequence later. In the moment they probably don't have much time for thinking about it.

The ionly implication I can draw from thisstatement is that you believe anyone who is not a conservative voter is unpatriotic, and by extension, a hater of (and therefore a danger to) Australia. If that is indeed what you believe, then I suggest you think very carefully about the implications, because you are sliding in to very dangerous territory.

OLD BRITISH ARMY SONG
I don't want to join the army
I don't want to go to war
I'd rather hang around Piccadilly Underground
Living of the earnings of a high class lady
I don't want a bayonet up me A****ole
I don't want me b****ocks shot away
I'd rather be in England
Merry merry England
And fornicate my bleepin life away.
(but they went, all the same - and many of them never came back.)

I have been there and done that. Fighting armed opponents is not the issue.
I was referring to the mindless massacre of unarmed men women and children.

I have said it once. I have said it twice.
But it looks like i have to say it again:
Someone very wise once said to me that messages of patriotism are positive, enriching and are about self. Whilst messages of racism are negative, confrontational and are about someone else.

Someone very wise once said to me (it wasn't a someone though; it was a lesson from my high school history book) That we need to be careful to make the distinction between Patriotism and Nationalism. because exaggerated feelings of Nationalism can lead the people so easily into War.

It is small wonder that you have difficulty with comprehension when you can not even decipher even the the most basic typos 🙂
