Pauline Hanson To Lead One Nation Again

Pauline Hanson has declared she'll lead the One Nation Party once more, and its first electoral test will come next year when Queenslanders go to the polls.

The party's executive unanimously backed Ms Hanson's return as leader at a meeting a few weeks ago and members are expected to formally endorse her at a meeting on November 29.

The serial candidate has insisted on her name being included once more in the party's brand.

But she insists the move to rebrand the party as Pauline Hanson's One Nation has nothing to do with ego.

"I have no ego," she told the Seven Network. "But I think that people relate to me."

She said she wasn't going to repeat past mistakes and allow people to infiltrate the party and destroy it from within.

"I'll take total control of it myself," she said.

"If I don't succeed then it'll be my fault. But no one's going to pull my strings. No one's going to tell me what to say."

She said the reborn party's first test would come early next year at the Queensland election, and she was also aiming to win a seat in the federal parliament.

It was the over run with Asians comment I was referring to nothing else. Sounds very Paulinesque  mid 1990's.

Who is it that tells them to get over it?  From where I'm standing we (as a nation) do everything in our power to accomodate them these days.  We are all made to feel eternally guilty for the way our forefathers treated them at the time of British colonisation.  We are reminded continually of how evil "white Europeans" are/were toward them. The govt will fund more money if the "Are you an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander?" box has been  ticked.  Aboriginal housing is far better  than public housing for the rest of us. The homes are bigger and come under much harsher scrutiny during inspections of trade work that has been done etc.   The VACCA ensures children remain within the family unit rather than placing them in foster homes because their cultural standards are different to ours.

Not to say that they dont deserve all these things because I firmly believe that they do, but it's hardly a mentality of "get over it..."

*** What do they wear 1/2 a burqa or 3/4 of a burqa?

I believe the burqa is the headpiece that covers the head and upper torso.

It is worn over the abaya.

Thank you Martini.

Yes, I do think it is a racist comment. There are several areas in Sydney, that have mainly Lebanese, or Vietnamese or other nationalities living there.. I have never heard anyone say those areas are overrun by these nationalities.

Most ppl wouldn't have the nerve to say it. I think Epping, in Sydney, and Chatswood are both overrun by Chinese.

Most major cities in the world have a Chinatown.

Chinatown in Sydney is overrun by tourists Woman LOL

What do you want them to do that suits you.. move back to Asia?

Ha ha like that was an option. Probably have more stringent border control for illegal immigrants and those overstaying their visas. Stop companies bringing in contract labour, would be a start.

Lol it might be exactly the same speech about a different group of people.

Much as I disagree with Hanson's views I was horrified by what they did to her. Does anyone remember that big newspaper story where they published a photo of an undressed woman they claimed was her? I think it was the Murdoch press?

of course it was the the Murdoch press, who else would run a fake story like that to discredit someone  Woman LOL

I looked it up

10th attempt LOL

"However, it should be remembered she has tried before and failed at every attempt but one to get into a Parliament.
Ms Hanson has nine times stood a variety of elected offices but has won just once — in Oxley in 1996 after being dumped as the Liberal candidate."

She is only appealing to racists, religious bigots and uses scaremongering tactics.

Education, health & employment are much bigger more important issues to most Australians.

Appealing to racists? Not true!

Pauline Hanson would be a great Prime Minister. I think Jacqui Lambie and Pauline should join forces and together they will form an even better alliance. 🙂

They couldn't do any worse than the Rudd/Gillard farce.

Oh please, she has nowhere near enough polish and presentation to represent the office of PM.

The same thing is being said about our current PM, Az. And yet he is our PM. Was voted in by a population who were out of patience with the previous government, who may have had polish and presentation but very little else.
