OMG!

the vatican and more so the pope have not been very humble here

the pope describes the former victim as someone who

""Had it in for pell""

he wasnt found innocent, just there was 'some doubt' about his guilt.

althought NOT in the eyes of a JURY!

a JURY thought he was GUILTY!

and so do millions of people!!

What would you expect the Pope to say when he is head of the biggest and most ruthless paedophile organisation in recorded history? He personally may not be one, but he knows his church is full of these sick criminals who are spread across the world. He is the one who should be dealing with the Pells within the church, but that would not be the religiously correct thing to do, I assume.

Somehow I don't think George will be rushing back to Italy.

Hmmm, I think he will leave Australia as soon as he can.....then be 'too ill' to be brought back to answer any civil cases that may be brought against him.

Re: Pell Acquitted

Cardinal Pell spent his first full day of freedom on Wednesday in the back seat of a friendโ€™s car on a road trip to Sydney after the High Court overturned five convictions for child sexual abuse.

Why was he allowed interstate travel?

I thought NSW was in lockdown.

Shouldn't he have stayed at Kew in Victoria, where he spent his first night out?

Makes one wonder.

He should have been turned at the border.
