"A child dying in its mother's arms" has NOTHING to do with contraception.
The western world throws out more than enough food to feed all of those poor countries.

You want to sterilise (STERILISE!!) countless numbers of people so that you dont have an uncomfortable television experience?
I am utterly speechless!
What a ridiculous translation of what I wrote !!!!!. I do get upset when I see these mothers and children in such distress and I do believe one way of stopping this human misery is to provide and have mandatory sterilization of women who cannot raise these babies. One must remember that most of these people have little or no education of any sort, the men see having sex as their "right" and the women are left to have these babies and hold them in their arms till they die. If you think that is preferable to stopping these babies being born then I think you need to have another look at their misery.

To start with most of people in refugee camps were perfectly able to raise their babies until they were forced from their homes by war. Secondly why are you calling for mandatory sterilisation of women? Why not the men?
In any case we cannot interfere in such a way in another country. There is such a thing as human rights.

You need to educate yourself a little better. "These people" are not preoccupied with sox as western countries seem to be. Rightly, there is much more to life for them. They have their own methods of birth control and we have no business interfering with that.
They do not have enough FOOD and MEDICINE. You could perhaps lobby world governments to help with that.

Perhaps you need a little education yourself.
Have you any idea WHY babies are dying in some of these countries? Clearly not.

Yes, they are dying because of war which causes them to flee and live in camps, they then suffer malutrition, do not have clean drinking water and suffer decease caused by poor sanitation and insufficient medical help. Can you give me a good reason why contraception of some sort whether it be sterilization of women OR MEN (lets not discriminate) would not help to reduce the number of babies being born only to die in angony and filth.
As far as educating myself, been there and done that, your personel critisism is not appreciated. I have stated my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

Well, on that premise, we should sterilise all Australians, because tens of thousands of babies here are destined to grow up in poverty, suffer abuse, some of them will die in agony as a result of this. Sterilisation will help to reduce this misery too.
