As far as educating myself, been there and done that, your personel critisism is not appreciated. I have stated my opinion and you are entitled to yours.
Are you suggesting Syrian children are dying of malnutrition in UN camps? Afghani children? Iraqi children? So far no evidence of children in current miltiary conflict zones seem to be dying of malnutrition.
Or are you talking about North Africa where agricultural issues have plagued the country? Or are you talking about East Africa that is in the midst of the worst drought in a century? Or West Africa where recurring drought, locust plagues and this year extensive flooding has meant that close to 20million people have been affected by food shortages?
Yes there is instability throughout most of the continent. But rebel fighting and clashes are not the reason these people can't grow their own food.

It is a combination of natural disasters and conflicts that makes the situation as bad as it is. Conflict does in many instances prevent the villagers from growing their own food, especially when either the rebels or the army burns down their crops and huts. People starve and walk miles to the camps when the situation is so dangerous that it is impossible to deliver aid to them.
