People who do not vaccinate will lose $

From January 2016 parents who do not vaccinate their kids will lose up to $15 000 in allowances/concessions, except in cases of medical  and some religious reasons.

I really would prefer that all children be immunised but seriously, do we need another slogan?

"This is essentially a 'no jab, no pay' policy from this Government," Mr Abbott said.

In a way I still think that parents should have the right to say no, but I also think that child care centres should be allowed to refuse children that are not immunised unless for medical reasons.  After all, you can't put your dog in a kennel if it isn't immunised and that is for the protection of other pets that they are looking after.

No, I meant there should be no exemptions, other than medical.

I also think there should be compulsory booster shots for adults..... before they start this nonsense of forcing people on certain incomes to have them.

Yes, there needs to be an education campaign to inform the community that not all childhood immunisations last a lifetime and adults need a booster shot for things like Whooping Cough.  Medicare should cover the costs as it's cheaper to immunise the people than it is to treat the disease.

Absolutely.

Want a "legal" exemption, not a problem but Gov't chilcare centres should not allow them to attend,

the families have to make their own arrangements and every parent of children where they do end up

needs to be told that the child isn't immunised.

And as you say, the right to refuse admission should be held up.

Is that from The  Daily Telegraph? (Anti-vaccination parents face $15,000 welfare hit under ‘No Jab’ reforms)

Seems over-inflated from other articles on the same issue.

Also parents that aren't entitled to any Family Tax benefit won't have it to lose.

SMH

Parents who do not vaccinate their children will lose welfare payments of up to $2100 per child under a federal government policy set to be announced before the May budget

Courier Mail

Any parent who doesn’t vaccinate their child will now not be eligible for up to $10,000 a year per child in childcare and welfare payments.

From January 1, 2016, failure to vaccinate their children will risk up to $7500 in childcare rebates, $2000 in family tax payments and the childcare benefit.

I know.

No pay seems to be getting quite a run at the moment !!!

Maybe it should be "no pay, go on holiday instead" !

Does it count as four when two of those words are the favoured NO words?
