Took some pics of the Crikey K9s in the pool this arvo.
Anyone else got any pics of their pets to share?
Harry (black one) is 5 and a bit and Arthur has just turned 5.
Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

has the fish been caught on a line first?
or does he just dive in and catch them himself?

Mr Grizz, he kept himself amused for hours chasing them. He would feel for them with his feet then dive for them. They had no escape as it was during the last drought and the creek had all but dried up. When this was taken there were still small waterholes left in the deeper parts of the creek. This mudpuddle was behind our house. Eventually it was completely dry and stayed that way for about 3 years. It's amazing how small an amount of water carp can survive in. I saw them with most of their bodies exposed, wriggling in the mud but still alive and well.

the classed as a pest over there too?
meant to leave them on the bank over here if you catch them
i put fish in my pond at home, the dog spent all day duck diving for them, i mean all day. walk outside there he was next to the fish pond, time to feed him same place. all day.
i didn't replace them as they died.

yep, they are a noxious species on this side of the country too. Jack spent most of his time chasing the fish until the creek dried up.
