Awww  they are just green ants Travlyn.  They bite but there is no sting.

I'm not sure about that, I got too close and heaps of them attacked me., if it was just a bite, man, do they hurt.

I had one of those little things ( I cant remember what its called) that you press a button and it fires some type of charge or something to relieve the pain from stings. I have used it a few times, but it didnt take the edged off the pain, this time.

Nasty little things, and a lesson learnt.
