Actually, Imastawka posted a pic of a live one on one of the photo challenge threads.
They're very cute when they're not lying in a pool of blood.
Theirs or the animal they are ripping to shreds ?
Cute is the last word I would use to describe them.

I know they're supposed to be vicious, but that doesn't take away from the fact that looks-wise (if not behavior-wise) they are kind of cute. At least IMO.
I also think the coyotes I sometimes encounter in the woods are beautiful too.
Animals can't help the way nature/God made them, you know.

I snapped this Mertens water monitor in the NT last year.
After dying off because of the Cane toads, they are making a comeback.
Not the best photo but trying to get them to stand still is quite hard.

Stunning podster. I'll be going to a very cold climate in about a week. I hope I can get some photos like that.

California does get snow in the mountains. I took this at Mammoth a few years ago.

It's weird that there ia snow on everything else but not on th floor

That is weird. The ground isn't very wet either.
I wasn't sure if I had shared the photo on a previous occasion, or not.
I know that I took the photo more than 5 years ago. I had to go to my old Photobucket account to find it. I lost thousands of photos when my previous computer crashed. Only a few photo survived, because my picassa account didn't save all of the photos that I had downloaded, including the above photo. I have an external drive now, just in case that ever happens again.
