I can see why it is called a Balloon flower ( flower before it opens). Balloon flower is easier to remember than its botanical name. It is very pretty

My flower is definitely balloon flower = Platycodon grandiflorus; it has 4 petals joined together in shape of shallow cup. The buds look like balloons.

I recognise it.....I had it in blue. It was in a pot and a local stray cat used to sleep on it and finally killed it. It dies down over the winter.
For the life of me I cannot remember the name of it though and the label has long since gone missing.

I googled that name poddster, to find out more about that plant, and no result. It is spelt right? Does it have a common name?
A plant with an enormous pink petal? That your translation?
