Please find another time for Protest

If you're fighting to protect people's lives, why not start by not risking the innocent lives of everyone elses. Find another time. I will have more respect for you. I was just saying the other day: Thank God that Australians aren't as crazy as Americans and we have at least some common sense not to choose this time to protest.

Re: Please find another time for Protest

this could explain something too

should a person who has lots of brutality accusations against them be a police officer?  and NO discipline either?  nearly all redacted or destroyed as per the police union's "bill of rights'

https://6abc.com/derek-chauvin-george-floyd-minneapolis-police-officer/6219077/

Online city records also show that 17 complaints have been filed against Chauvin. Sixteen complaints were closed with no discipline. The remaining complaint generated two letters of reprimand, with one apparently related to the use of a squad car dashboard camera. The records don't include any details on the substance of the complaints.

there's even voter fraud here

Not really. I'm sure there would be plenty of complaints of police action.

Doesn't mean they are realistic.

That is all public knowledge and has been for a week or so now.

It does not excuse an execution style arrest - ending in murder.

Maybe so. But the office kneeling on Floyd's neck may have been unaware of FLoyd's  medical condition.

It should not have ended in death. I see it as a restrictive measure gone wrong.

So I don't see it as a "execution style" arrest, or "murder". As BLM protesters would have it.

Manslaughter, at best.

George Floyd's medical condition was irrelevant.

I disagree. If he had not had the underlying issues, he may have survived

An independent autopsy - concluded - asphyxiation.

The man was cuffed - put to the ground - his neck knelt on by an officer with his hands in his pockets - for 8 minutes & 46 seconds.

It was 2nd degree murder - ie - intent.

I recall a white boy was put in the same postion by police (read it somewhere) as Floyd and died, did he have underlying conditions too??

Signatures suck.
