Please find another time for Protest

If you're fighting to protect people's lives, why not start by not risking the innocent lives of everyone elses. Find another time. I will have more respect for you. I was just saying the other day: Thank God that Australians aren't as crazy as Americans and we have at least some common sense not to choose this time to protest.

It was murder, nothing to do with the virus.

Any person with that much presure on the neck would have died, 8.5 minutes is to much for any human to take.

That is all public knowledge and has been for a week or so now.

It does not excuse an execution style arrest - ending in murder.

Maybe so. But the office kneeling on Floyd's neck may have been unaware of FLoyd's  medical condition.

It should not have ended in death. I see it as a restrictive measure gone wrong.

So I don't see it as a "execution style" arrest, or "murder". As BLM protesters would have it.

Manslaughter, at best.

George Floyd's medical condition was irrelevant.

An independent autopsy - concluded - asphyxiation.

The man was cuffed - put to the ground - his neck knelt on by an officer with his hands in his pockets - for 8 minutes & 46 seconds.

It was 2nd degree murder - ie - intent.

I disagree. If he had not had the underlying issues, he may have survived

No-one could ' survive ' - a knee to the neck for that amount of time.

Not even a 20 year old.

Truth is - he was ' lynched '.

Same thing - to lynch is to hang by the neck until dead.

Thing is - even after he was dead - the police person - continued to kneel - after life expired.

End of.

I still disagree. I don't think the policeman would have continued if he'd realised he was causing death. It just wouldn't make sense. He knew he was being filmed. He knew there were witnesses.  Why would he risk his career?

At the beginning - George stated - ' I can't breath '.

Did the - for the want of a better word - cop - stop.

No - he didn't - not even when his 3 - now charged buddies - asked him to.

Not even when bystanders - who were incapable of helping - screamed stop.

Not even when George stopped struggling.

Tell you what - get your partner to cuff you - throw you to the ground - kneel on your neck for 8 minutes & 45 seconds - will give you a break on the seconds.

Don't forget the hands in the pockets - casual like.

And on - only on - the condition - you don't have any underlying conditions - let us know how it goes.
