Pole blocking Adelaide garage

Look at the size of the "garage" - even if the pole wasn't there, you'd only fit a very small car in it.

Pole blocking Adelaide garage

*ahem*  We have a garage that has a bit of a problem too 😔 Our house is a bit like Topsy, and has been built onto several times over the years.  And mostly that works fine .........

The story goes that the garage was at first just a rough carport with a dirt floor.  Gradually it got added to and improved on until the previous owners decided to concrete the floor.  They went away and entrusted a "mate" to do the job.  When they got back he had concreted the floor all right, but hadn't bothered to dig down and just poured the concrete over the top.

So the floor level essentially got lifted by several cm (or the roof got lowered, take your pick).  Then they decided to put on a roller door, lowering the entrance way even more!

Fortunatly my little car fits ok, by OHs has to have the aerial lowered every time he backs out.  And when we are looking at new cars the height will certainly be a selling point 😏

My six foot something son has to duck to get through the roller door. 😂😂

Your " caption car' looks like a Honda N360. Thay had a 360 cc. motorcycle type motor and where smaller than a mini. I have got an early station wagon type version tucked away in a farm shed. They are that small and light that one strong person can physically push on the side of the car to move it into tight parking spaces and they turn on a dime anyway, so the garage with the pole in front would not be too much of a challenge.

Mine hasnt got the split personality though LOL
