Coronavirus Care Army raises alarm after 80yo woman falls and breaks hip, trapped in house for days
isnt this how police should be shown in news stories
and not the stories of thuggery and lawlessness we often see.

on the face of it i thought, yes, police over doing it again
but no, on reading the story i have no sympathy for this woman
she has an exemption, but didnt mention it until after her arrest
she caused the whole thing just like the idiot at bunnings
its up to the individual when approached by police to say 'i have a medical exemption'
and produce it
or suffer the results of acting stupid
I do agree with you David......but it surprises me that the police are not more careful how they restrain people. Surely they are trained to do it in a way that doesn't potentially seriously hurt the detainee?
She didn't seem concerned about the hefty kick she gave to the policewoman from what I saw.

It's hard as police do have to walk a fine line. Yeah, looking at this particular incident, it could have been handled much better.
There are some bullies in the police force who love having that power and being able too dish out physical pain on another person is an aphrodisiac. Then again there are police men and women who are on the edge, working shifts that their body clocks haven't adjusted to properly and are in need of some chill time. This is not handled properly buy the admin and a normally good policeman or woman can react in a way that's out of character.
