Poor child in suitcase

How sad is this case in which a suitcase has been found with the skeleton  of a child 2-8 inside. It looks like it is a little girl as clothing has been found in the same suitcase...little dresses and such with animals  and Dora the Explorer  ect . According to the little forensics they have carried out so far the child died a very violent death.

How awful that a little child can meet a horrible end and is not even reported missing

Apparently a man about 60 was seen weeks ago carting  a suitcase and police are now seeking him but many locals had seen the case and some had even gone through it but missed the skeletal  remains

just so tragic the whole thing

Re: Poor child in suitcase

The confirmed sighting by police at Coober Peedy makes me think the little girl was killed first and left in the area, there is an unconfirmed sighting of Karlie in or near, the ACT a year later, so the scenario may be that simple........... or not.

I hope they find the killer(s). What a horrible thing to happen to a young mother and child. It doesn't bear thinking about. What has our country come to? nearly every day there's a murder or a DV  incident (Al Mazri) who was supposed to be the face against DV.

I sometimes wonder what's going to happen next with lone wolf killers ready to murder innocent people.

I wonder if there is more than one person involved.

the police said there were, that was

why they were making references to

"they".

DETECTIVES have more than one suspect in the murders of single mum Karlie Jade Pearce-Stevenson and her little daughter Khandalyce, whose bodies were found five years and 1200km apart.

I don't think it's any worse now than before, some people are just getting better at hiding their crimes.

You have been reunited with your family.

You're no longer a child, lost, unknown, alone.

Who am I going to tell bedtime stories to, now?

Take care, little one.

Re: Poor child in suitcase

My first thought as well Chuk.

One gone to NSW with mum and another to SA with child's body or something similar.

Did I hear correctly?

Grandmother had reported daughter missing, then 6 days later retracted. Meaning granny had possibly had contact from daughter saying she is ok and now granny has passed?

Hopefully at least granny never knew that things were amiss.

Re: Poor child in suitcase

more than one suspect does not mean more than one killer.

my belief is more than one killer.

Kopes there was an interesting news report today showing the time line for each of the girls. For mum it said the missing persons report was retracted some days later but for Khandalyce, the timeline was longer
