Would appreciate some advice please. I've got a rash across my chest and back and it is driving
me crazy. I've tried creams and lotions to cool it down and get some relief, also had anti histamines, it
hasn't seemed to have improved. Don't think I'll be able to make work in the morning
Some suggestion on what to use would be greatlly appreciated.

Mowing the lawn and sweating will give you a rash like this... I know as it happens to me often...

Really? I didn't know that, probably as I don't have lawns. Maybe little mites get
disturbed and get into the skin? It looks nasty and very uncomfortable.

Not sure what the reason is... chemicals are released when grass is cut, I love the smell and apparently it stimulates a feel good chemical in your brain... I read a study somewhere a year or two a go..
I always thought it was the dust and dirt and grass particles that stuck to my skin that I had a reaction too...
might just be the hard work though... 😉

Carefully tape some blue cellophane over a directed lamp and shine on the rash.
Light should be about 30cm(12 inches) away from the body.
Shine for about 5mins, twice a day.
It's called chromatherapy (colour therapy)
Don't leave the lamp covered, it's a fire hazard, remove and put back on for each session.

Thanks for the blue cellophane suggestion afd. I don't know if I have any blue cellophane think only green. The rash is still causing me grief. While putting on something soothing I noticed
that the rash is in a vertical line down the front of my chest almost even both sides (where the bra straps sit) and across the full back to where the back of the bra sits. Then I remembered last week I was wearing a new bra. Maybe it's a reaction to the rubber in the bra together with the heat. Wlll wait another day then go see a dr.

Some companies in China illegally use formaldehyde in their material and that can cause severe skin reactions...
They also use other pretty harsh chemicals that are legal...
I say you have had a reaction to the bra and would almost suggest returning it...
Or wash it lots of times...

Went to the drs today. His opinion is that the rash is due to the new bra. I have been prescribed Predisone tablets for 4 days and he says it should clear up hopefully.
Have googled bra rash and have found some of Victoria's Secrets bras have been
causing rashes in some women in USA and there is a class action.
Formaldehyde and other chemicals are mentioned as the cause. Traces of formalehyde remain after a few washes and if a dryer is used traces still remain and the heat releases some of the toxins into the skin. In my case the day I was wearing the new bra I mowed the lawn and obvious;ly the heat and the sweat released something that caused the rash.

I'm glad that you got to the bottom of the problem. I'm also glad that you tried my suggestions and they worked for you :-x

shocking isn't it what a new bra can do

I had no idea they could contain formaldehyde of all things, that's a
shocker.
