Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have released two new photos from their royal wedding.
The Queen's granddaughter got married in secret at The Royal Chapel of All Saints, Windsor on Friday, after postponing the original ceremony, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Beatrice paid tribute to the Queen by wearing the same tiara that Her Majesty wore to her royal wedding to Prince Philip in 1947.
Her wedding dress - a vintage Norman Hartnell design - also belonged to the Queen. It was worn by the monarch tothe state opening of parliament in 1967
They certainly make a nice-looking couple, and that big smile of Beatrice's

Wonder why Beatrice put those little puffy sleeves on a beautiful dress?
Why not? They look pretty and she may not have wanted to have bare shoulders for a wedding.
I'm sure they're detachable for the next occasion.

I thought her wedding dress was gorgeous but then again I love fashions from when the dress was first made for the Queen.
In some churches you must have the shoulders covered (like at William and Kate's wedding) so I think the sheer puffed sleeves worked rather well, especially as the enbroidery on the sleeve bands matches the original straps.
There's a lot to be said about looking good in a couture vintage gown at a wedding rather than dressing in the current fashion of strapless gowns with the um, chest area just about falling out, or worse - top heavy with a big backside hobbling along in a 'mermaid' wedding dress that actually flatters very few brides. Just my opinion of course. 😉

Just to set the record straight, as it seems to have been misinterpreted - I am not objecting to a sleeve at all.
I was commenting on the 'puffy' sleeves. As had been pointed out by Dom, a much more elegant (IMO) sleeve would have been a long one.
Not sleeves that made her look like a 12 yo - she is not a young bride, she's 31 yo
