I'm hearing that it will be an 11% swing, not quite enough for a change of govt. but a few seats should change hands. Looking forward to watching the results come through tonight

Youth unemployment, wider unemployment and waste of our resources is a high priority for me.
The results will be interesting

well not by me... it would take a 12% swing... but newman wil lose his seat and they may end up with a hung parliament. I don't know anything about any of the independants running. I assume the national party hold quite a few Qld seats currently?

all good reasons Az. You have to vote on state issues that are important to you

I agree, Debra. Apparently the disproportionate numbers we have had since last election are a first in Australian politics. That of course gave rise to the Hitler complex. We can do what we want to and nobody can stop us. Tomorrow the balance will be back.
Campbell drew a lot of laughter in the debate, when he said that the bikies are supporting Labor. Palaszcuk said "Rubbish". Campbell then said, "It's on the front page of the paper". And he was serious.

having too much control is not a good thing for either side of politics imo Polks, there needs to be some balance
The Courier Mail, fine upstanding paper, I saw that, lol

While I don't follow Qld politics fervently, there have been a couple of wonderful true Independents, not afraid to attack and say what they think. One of them, Liz Cunningham is unfortunately leaving, but the other, Peter Wellington, will still be there.
