This is not aimed at anyone in particular. I'm just trying to think of ways to keep all the cs'ers interested and contributing. The thread seems to be moving away from the original purpose of taking the time out to appreciate whats around us everyday.
Should there be a limit on how many photos a person can post? e.g. 10
Should there be limit on how many 'old' pictures can be posted. e.g. 5 pics from disk/album, plus 5 new photos
or 5 'old' photos and unlimited new pics.
I know sometimes it's not possible to get out and take something new for the challenge (although Joz always manages to find something that fits the theme) so postng a "here's one I prepared earlier" pic is the alternative and keeps the thread going. Personally I miss the happy snaps from people that spot something on their way to work, or in their freezer, or garden etc
What do you all think? Any ideas, thoughts, opinions.....
If you don't want to post your opinions here, please message me.
oh, and don't forget to vote today

Some of the posters seem to have disappeared from the photo threads.

reading all the varied responses makes me ask - If we vote for the photos that appeal to each of us the most, how and why does it matter how many photos posters are posting? Unless we are choosing on who posted the photo rather than the photo itself it should have no bearing on anything.

No, it shouldn't.
I feel Pimpy has a good point though, if it is a challenge to take a fresh look at one's surroundings...it is a great idea and shouldn't be lost. But I also like the old pics that fit (because as has been said, they are new to me).
any changes that make people feel they have nothing to post would be a bad thing...hopefully this thread is enough to inspire a look around each week. It is the thinking and appreciating process to me too.

The challenge also makes me look at my "old" photos in a different way, so it's still all part of the challenge. Thats what i reckon anyway.....:

sometimes the bigger ones take maybe 2 seconds for me, if people are finding that there are too many photos to look at, well....it's a bit odd to me, but whatever.

Some themes might be better in a particular season as well.. Flowering trees look more impressive in Spring, other trees may look better in Autumn colours.

With this particular thread on buildings,
I feel like I'm on a school excursion and
need to be educated.
And with the Americans joining in as well,
It's a lot of educating
It's no longer a challenge - it's a competition
