Have eBay developed some sort of secret code for logging in ?

When I click the ID field, my moniker appears briefly, and then disappears. Repeated clicking doesn't bring it back. I then have to take the cursor into my password, click,  and then quickly jump back into the ID box, click once more...and....voila ! Success.

Not only on here, but the UK Boards too. Anyone else experiencing this phenomenon ?

If it disappears, then just type it in.  You do have a keyboard, don't you?

Type it in again ? Do you think I've got nothing else to do with my time ? It should appear as if by magic when I click in the ID field.

Besides I do not have a keyboard. I'm writing this on parchment, with a quill pen.

Do you think if I shoved the pc into the washing machine with plenty of Daz and Domestos, and on a hot cycle, it would do the trick ?
