STEVIE Wright, who fronted the band The Easybeats in the 1960s and is widely regarded as Australia’s first international pop star, has died at the age of 68.

Their music was the best and will live on.
Always went to see them when they performed in Melbourne.

I saw Stevie Wringht in A Long Way To The Top in Sydney a few years ago. He was fabulous.
Todayis a sad day for all his fans and family.
His music will live on though.

The ABC screened "Blood and Thunder" last night and it was kind of a nice tribute to Stevie Wright and the Easybeats- going right back to their beginnings.
Something I never knew was that Angus Young is the youngest brother of Geeorge Young ( Vanda & Young) songwriters extrodinaire. If anyone hasn't seen it, it is well worth a watch
