RT Reunion any old members still around ? say hello

Wow been some years from my last visit, this place is a devastated landscape !  so sterile !

I was thinking of back in the day and the great laughs we had and thought of the old posters.

Lot of water gone under the bridge, all the hatchets would be well buried by now.

Are there any left ? am I all that's left ? anyway hello to any of the old guard, cheers Yibs !

Sadly just the same tired old gang. Only problem is they have become a lot more active in trying to shut down any opinion they dont agree with and have become much more aggressive in the " pile ons and put downs."

Unfortunately it is probably just a reflection of the lowering of general standards and courtesies we see across wider society .

As for who the main offender is........I have been receiving messages of support for probably six months now from a number of other well known posters who have left the boards and while several names keep coming up, the sad, septic nature of one particular posters offerings seems to  dominate  the discussion of why they have left . ....😉

As for why I dont regularly contribute here anymore, its not because of layout changes to the boards, its just that I,ve got better things to do than get bogged down in discussions about pedantic little points, ( designed to deflect from the main topic ) and having to put up with personal attacks and pile ons from said member and her little group of school yard bullies.

Want to know why the boards are dying and diversity of opinion has long ago left the building ? Take a look around past threads. Things wont improve while the problem is still around.

I can't tell you what to do or how to feel, all I know is no-one or any group will sway me or silence me.

What really gave me the irrits was a certain group actually worked on removing posters while LW was too gullible to realise. I kinda liked it when the main offender (leader) got removed when Lithium took over.

I doubt this group is the same, coz I believe the current management would put a stop to any organised reporting.

This back and forth stuff is no big deal, to me anyhow. Either you can handle it or you can't.

Hey Kat ! over the years I've been away from the boards I have had time to think  things over, the way I acted ...  the way others acted ... when I think back it was all childish, nasty, thoughtless statements that we're meant to hurt or wound by different groups and individuals with selfish a genders.

On reflection being away from here on my self aware pilgrimage some things stood out, particularly how I would like to live the rest of my life out, it's true life is short !  I would hope after all this time things would have chilled out, any hostilities and axes to grind are dead and buried. 

I'm hoping to just post and show respect to everyone and expect the same in return. no more vitriol from the past.  As I said life really is to short to be a lemon. Be a peach ! .... Yibs !
