In an organisation as large as the police force it would be very surprising if SOME individuals were not corrupt, brutal, dishonest etc.etc. but to extend that into a blanket accusation against the whole force is like saying all members of motorcycle clubs are criminals, all priests are paedophiles or all Muslims are terrorists.
Finally someone making a valid point. Before I address it, Just keep in mind that this topic was something I found kind of funny and weird in a video on Youtube. I posted it as a News story that I suspected would be well recieved as a subject of intrest. I offered a short summery at the end of the op putting my own views jokingly, that police don't need to steal bad guy rep, that they should have enough of their own. These attacks on me only tells me, i'm on the right track.
The truth is often met with a 3 step process. Step 1, ignore, until it can no longer be ignored. Step 2, attack it any number of ways, in an effort to, ,, ,,, Step 3, Hide the truth, and keep it hidden.

Ok, I suppose it depends on what one's definition of a bad cop is or corrupt, brutal, dishonest etc.etc... To me the cop who stands back and lets another cop, even his partner or supiror officer do these things is the bad cop, the ones who cover and lie for another cop are worse, and the cop who actually does these things are worse still. I've posted examples of cops who try to actually doo the right thing, like pulling another cop off their victim, or reporting a fellow cop abusing their power, and how they are no longer cops, thats if their lucky. I'm sure many cops who oppose other cops are met with an unfortunate untimely accedent.
I give police credit for being very smart. they know exactly how to get away with things. I believe police agencys and courts have a kind of system in place to train and instruct staff how to deal with those who try to get some accountability. They fill their courtrooms with judges who will by default, side with a cop even when they know the cop is wrong.
Police have so many diffrent kinds of protection, and immunity from responsability from their own actions, that all I have left to combat it, is to get the truth out, expose them any way I can to as many people as I can. Truth has a way of coming out in time. I belive history will show I'm right. Though a lie detector test would be much faster, I have to work with what I have.
