Refugees in Germany

do the refugees in Germany not realise that they are playing with fire , by aggressively flooding Germany's boarders and acting up once there , do they not realise that they are playing into the hands of the Neo nazi's, do they not remember history , ifear for the world if the average German be comes disenfranchised and angry as the nazi movement is long way from dead. History has shown and continues to show that what has been before can be again

Refugees in Germany

The subject became interwoven with Australia early on. The post I made was in response to another poster then another poster jumped on that and twisted to suit their agenda. Same old, same old.

Topics evolve, change direstion, then loop back to the original.

So, what's your opinion on refugees fleeing to Germany?

Mine is that if people need shelter, you provide it if you can. My opinion is that those countries who participate in the war  that has been happening in Syria, whether it be through financial asistance, the providing of weapons or the bombing of etc should have an obligation to provide refuge to the lion's share of the asylum seekers. That Germany has stepped up is fantastic and if other countries did the same then the load would be shared - as it should be.

What I find ironic in all this is the very people many are jumping up and down demanding we treat better as they fleeing so call persecution are from the very same country who sent their army into a Palestinian refugee camp and masicared thousands of woman and children so as to drive them out of their country

Australia does not have an  illegal immigration  problem, why??? because a conservative govt took back  control of our borders.

Australia still has nearly 50 thousand illegal  immigrants in detention and in the community who have to  be assessed  because they tore up their  ID purely so they could spout the lies the smugglers taught them.

Immigrant advocates are working to overcome the laws of Australia, why? because they believe in open  borders.

We do? where did this number come from?

As at 30 June 2015 there were:

2,013 people in immigration detention facilities, and 1,189 people in community detention in Australia

as at 30 June 2015 there were:

  • 655 asylum seekers (including 88 children) in detention in Nauru
  • 945 adult asylum seekers in detention on Manus Island, Papua New Guinea

Afghans make up a large proportion of the hundreds of thousands of migrants seeking refuge in Europe. Austria earlier this week proposed a tough new bill to deter Afghans while German interior minister last week called for them to stay in their home country.

Last month, Finland's immigration service narrowed asylum criteria for Iraqis and Somalis based on its assessment of an improved security situation in those countries.

Sweden's request to start sending refugees to other countries under the EU's relocation scheme is part of an agreement to tighten immigration rules that Sweden's centre-left Prime Minister Stefan Lofven made with centre-right opposition parties a fortnight ago.

The deal also included the introduction of three-year temporary residence permits, with exceptions for some groups including families with children and unaccompanied minors. Almost everyone granted asylum in Sweden in the past has been given permanent residency.
