Last couple or mornings there has been a layer of frost on my windscreen. Would like advice on best way to clear it quickly.

have you read pimpy's comments?
there is a shock factor of adding hot water to a frozen windshield, and it only does further damage if there is already a crack in the glass.
my glass obviously had no cracks
Ah no, any windscreen can crack or break if you pour boiling water onto it while it is frozen.
Our neighbour's rear window shattered one morning in the frost, with very loud noise attached.

Sorry hit the wrong buttonon previous post. Be Careful if you put any liquid on the wind screen, especially one with a chip.
