Why would she do that to her child?
Do people who name their kids quirky names think they are being clever or are they just really so self absorbed that they haven't thought about the impact that a name like that will have on a kid?

I dont like the lyrics in that song, but it is one of those songs you cant get out of your head.

I am not convinced Apple is anything but a commercial name, not the fruit. I am thinking of the commercial nature of the parents here. Goop etc.

I hope so.
This is a bit personal for me. I was given a completely stupid name. It made sense to my mother given the circumstances but was incredibly difficult to live with.

I actually dont mind Rocket Zot Worthington. I think it's a well thought out name. It sounds like a character out of a kids action novel or a cartoon character hehe I reckon little boys at school would be jealous of a kid with the name Rocket.
