Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning shoppers/cooks/wrappers and slackers like me Smiley LOL

Is 10.30 too early for chicken-liver pate on crumpets and some blue cheese filled olives?  Not in this household Smiley Surprised

They were just sitting in the fridge tempting me ..... that is my excuse anyway!

Nothing much of import happening in this household today ........ oh, oh, oh ..... wrong!

We are going to give LL a Christmas bath - and ourselves in the process.  It is the weather for it - better than cavorting under the retic by ourselves lol

No pics - so don't ask!  Refusal might offend

Edit to reflect that posting pics might offend even more Smiley Embarassed

Tom is a lucky boy.

We went for our walk tonight........it is really muggy..................the water was so calm..............jsut the sort of weather before a storm...............but according to the weather man that is not going to happen.

I have bought everything I need for Christmas................I jut need to make my friend her icecream............I have the icecream machine bowl in the freezer ready.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Evening folks

Nics - I bet he was over the moon with his new car.  He must have been a very good boy!

Sounds like you have everything well under control Flashie.  There will be much hilarity at your house tomorrow with them all around there with you.  A beautiful time of the year!

Deb the pyromaniac flaming the pudding lol.  We always used to do that too - the blue flames used to 'run' around the pudding.  Sadly I have not cooked a pudding for a few years now though Smiley Sad  Other cold desserts seem to have taken precedence in our house.

Pleased to say we achieved the great LL wash without too much problem and she is swanning around feeling very pleased with herself (so am I).

Prim - did you manage to get all your shopping done today?  Postman landed btw Heart

j*oono did you get to Curves - you brave thing you!

Re: Round Table Revisited

I did Laney.  I only put on 200gms with all those Godiva chocolates and toffee and all those lovely pasta dishes I've cooked lately.

What the hell.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

Joono, I agree...'What the hell'. As Erica frequently says "Life is short" and when you get older, it seems shorter.

Apart from a few very small hiccups, over the past 10 years or so I have found our postal service to be excellent. That you got your mail so quickly at this time of year is testament to that Laney 🙂

Flashie, I hope you have some games ready to keep them entertained...... they are all growning up so fast my head is spinning.

Nics, your grandson will never forget that beautiful red car...it looks fabulous!

Deb, we like to have the pudding blazing in brandy too except we do it on Boxing Day because none of our family like it except us..

We have some gentle rain falling, unfortunately it is expected to rain all today and tomorrow so our street Christmas Eve get together may not happen. We will see.

Back to shopping for me today as I did not get it all done yesterday. Unfortunately I don't know what to get for a few of them so it is just a matter of legging it around the shopping centres for a light bulb moment.

Did everyone make their stollen this morning 🙂

Have a great day everyone.
