A friend up the north west coast has a real phobia about pressure cookers after she had a disaster years ago as well .... she'll never go back to them, won't even come into my kitchen if it's going and when they're here for dinner, she stays in the lounge. I understand her fear of it though, the contents of hers actually went though a window and at the same time, broke the light on the ceiling with the lid, talk about a mess.
I have to say goodnight, we're about to watch a movie that goes for an awfully long time, so bye for now, thanks for the chat, I'll try and get back tomorrow ..... night night all xxx

A tiny bit of rain here too Deb. Yesterday I found the poppy seeds I saved from last year when my poppies (only one really) struggled to survive so I thought I should sew them into a pot instead and see if anything grew. Am I too late for planting poppy seeds? I might be.
Apart from that the ex wants me to see if I can find him a soap dish for their bathroom. He's not happy using liquid hand soap like everyone else. So... I've told him to hand over the credit card as this calls for a major shopping expedition.
Edit: for rotten spelling

morning Joono
good luck with the poppy seeds, I would plant them whether it's too late or not. What colour are they ?? I once had some beautiful fluffy pink ones, but they disappeared long ago

They were supposed to be red but they (it) turned out to be scraggly pink. I just need to top up the pots with a bit more fresh potting mix. I've ripped out the mint as that dies off in winter and comes back in spring in that pot. In the meantime hopefully I will have some lovely red poppies instead.
The pot of freesias my mother-in-law gave me last year has gone crazy! No flowers yet though.
