Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Ladies Smiley Happy

Looks like you might all be out and about socialising and doing whatever.  Flashie, how did the muffins turn out?  All gone by now too I bet lol

Had to dash back to the office this morning to speak severely to one of the staff about a computer issue.

Going to have to put a few blocks in place to deny access to 'p' sites!  Honestly, if their brains were gunpowder they would not have enough to raise their hats.  Imagine using a work computer - or any computer for that matter - to access sites like that.

Guess I am just becoming a grumpy old lady to some Smiley LOL

Too bad!  I am what I am!

Edit:  Perhaps I should have said 'I have become a grumpy old lady' lol lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

Seriously Laney??  What they're doing is a def. no-no... OH used to have a staff member who spent all his time on the stock market using work's time and their computer. Should be doing work at work imo

Re: Round Table Revisited

Seriously Deb!!

He said he was bored - I 'suggested' he would be less bored if he did his work instead Smiley Surprised

I will not countenance that sort of behaviour in an office environment and cannot understand how some organisations appear to.

Re: Round Table Revisited

He'd certainly be more bored if he didn't have a job.  I hope he was at least embarrassed about it

Re: Round Table Revisited

Embarrassed that he was 'found out' Deb, particularly when he did in fact have work he should/could have been doing.

It is called using one's 'initiative'.

I am pretty hard line about fair work for fair pay!

Re: Round Table Revisited

I don't blame you, hubby has had to take that "hard line" in the past as well. I just think it's wrong to use computers at work for anything other than work

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Laney, I was just logging off.  I got out for a while, avoiding housework mainly.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Was just catching up on the local news Smiley Sad

A seven-month old baby died today in Perth Hospital after her father allegedly assaulted her!  According to the news report, his mother described her 23 year old son as a wonderful father and complained he was not coping well since his arrest.  She further complained 'he would not even look at me'!

Words fail me - at least on here Smiley Mad
