Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

It is not supposed to be a strange place, it is supposed to be one of the best in that area. I can only think that the ownership changed hands since the glowing reviews.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringer Friends Smiley Happy

How very disappointing for you both Prim.  Whilst the resultant outcome did not leave you out of pocket that was not really the issue was it!  You were looking forward to the evening and you would feel somehow cheated that it did not live up to 'promoted' expectations. Not having to pay the bill hardly made up for a spoiled evening.

Was up really early this morning, having been woken by LL.  Tried going back for an extra hour after the first coffee but she was not having a bar of it.  Now I am sitting here and she is asleep at my feet Smiley Frustrated  It's all about the timing .....NOT!

No firm plans for the day here but no doubt something will eventuate.

18-30 here today. Sydney already 31!!!!  Stay out of the garden today Prim!  It is climbing to 35 over your way

p.s. to say - if you are chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Grand Final - wouldn't you think you could get it right ... having done it before.  You could hardly blame stage-fright Smiley Surprised

Re: Round Table Revisited

`Hi Laney, Spot on. It wasn't about paying. All night we kept saying to each other that we did indeed feel cheated as we had looked forward to a process, not just a meal.

No gardening today. It is very hot and it won't be long before I need to put on the aircon because I am working upstairs and the sun is now hitting the window about 2ft away.

I hope LL lets you have a bit of a nap this afternoon.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Something DID eventuate Smiley Frustrated

A call from the office necessitated a quick visit there to rectify the results of some vandalism.

I had to go out anyway as we were almost out of coffee and that would have been unforgiveable.  Trouble is, the coffee was located near the bakery and the cinnamon donuts were just TOO tempting lol.

You Ladies sound as though you are busy - I feel a bit guilty anticipating the possibility of a nap this afternoon Smiley Wink

It's just a possibility at the moment though - LL dependent Smiley LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

Well we had a great day today.

Went down to one of my brothers house so hubby could put the new carpet in his car..........(his current project)

My SIL and I went and had a look at the new Party Shop..........I bought a few little bits and pieces to put in the grandchildren's Christmas boxes......

HUbby helped with tea.....(that does not happen often here.......Cat LOL)

Went for a walk...............and a bike ride......(I only managed 4km before I had to give up)

Our grand daughter gets home from her Great Bunya Gathering..............her little sister will be so pleased............she has missed her dreadfully.

I have to have a mole removed tomorrow...............another scar to the collection........I hope I am not too sore..............................as I also have to get ready for Tuesdays Birthday.

Our grandson has put his order in for pavlova for dessert..............................so I have about 3 to make....................(I secretly love doing it all though..................just don't tell them that.......Cat Embarassed)
