Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

morning all  Smiley Happy

Hi Flashie,  Woman LOL  glad you didn't fall for the biscuit trick lol

you must be worn out, all the work you're doing. my arms get tired from painting

Laney , you probably would've enjoyed it. I worked in the box office there, no computers, they didn't even use cash registers in box offices in those days- had to be on the ball,  as every show was a full house.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Karen will be devastated to hear David Bowie has passed on.

I found him very charismatic.

The birthday boy has a huge bump on his head.............apparently he does not take corners well on bikes

Another day of painting tomorrow...............hopefully we get the finishing touches done to the lounge and main bedroom.........everything else is undercoated.

My back felt like 100 years old when I got up this morning...............I was a bit better when I got moving around.

Deb..........when our girls were teenagers they used to do St John Ambulance...............they always volunteer for service when something came to the Derwent Entertainment Centre................because they used to get to peak in and watch most of the shows.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good evening Friends Smiley Happy

A long day topped off by a late management meeting arrrrggggggh.

Not long home - waiting for dinner

Nothing much else to say tonight really except we are losing our favourite early morning announcer on the ABC here in Perth. Few of you would know him but Eoin Cameron is an institution in Perth - a real rebel and a great presenter.  He has decided to retire, having suffered a broken back in a car accident and undergone about 7 major surgeries as a result.  I know it is probably of little interest to most but I just had to share that with you Smiley LOL

It is probably more interesting than the tennis to you all Smiley Surprised

Anyway ...... dinner is served.  Catch up tomorrow

Re: Round Table Revisited

Another day painting.............gee my usual Wednesday is going to feel like a holiday.

Would you believe we have only totally finished 2 rooms.

I spent 6 hours painting around windows and doorways today.....................I listened to the radio while I painted...........................they were playing David Bowie all day................gee I hope he knew how respected and admired he was.

I am off to mow the lawns now................gee I am looking forward to the weekend away hubby and I have planned soon........................I plan on doing absolutely NOTHING!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good afternoon Friends Smiley Happy

I plan on doing absolutely NOTHING!

Flashie - what is exactly what I plan to do tomorrow!  Gosh you have been flat chat - enjoy your 'holiday' tomorrow.  You are right - that is what it will feel like Smiley LOL

We had rain this morning but I did not hear a thing.  When I saw the water all over the back terrace, I thought the retic had burst it's boiler.  I was relieved when I saw the water coming from a downpipe and realised it was rain doh!

A good start to the day and it was beautiful - not too hot, not too wet ...... just right!

I must be one of the only people in the world who know little about David Bowie - guess my musical tastes were more classical.  Having heard a lot of his music being played today of course I recognise the songs but they never struck a chord with me at the time.  Must have been living under a rock Smiley Embarassed
