Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning Deb surgery 19th It can't come quick enough in one way and i'm dreading it in another.

Up early this morning - we lost the paling fence between our units and the house next door during the wind on Saturday it's lying in the

driveway next door - chap arrived to do a measure and quote for a new colourbond so needed to give him the run down.

Looks like a lovely day ahead for us - hope you're feeling better today Nic♥

Re: Round Table Revisited

Just visiting quickly and haven't scrolled back very far, but just enough to see that there a few here having surgical procedures (or about to)

So sending you all healing thoughts and trusting that all goes well and recovery is comfortable and quick.

Nicnacs, sorry it didn't so well this time around xxx

Re: Round Table Revisited

Afternoon Folks

Sorry to hear that your procedure did not go as planned Nics Smiley Sad

Hopefully the CPAP machine will help you - I have had no personal experience of them but I believe they have imporoved dramatically since my Mum had to use one years ago.  Good luck with that Nics Heart

Freddie, Freddie, Freddie - what a trooper you are!  You take it all in your stride ..... one amazing lady.  Hopefully the time will fly until 19th and it will be all behind you with the good results you so richly deserve Heart

Pulled the plug at the office early today - we too lost a fence last night.  We heard this awful crashing noise in the middle of the night - thought the roof was flying off but thankfully it was not that.  When I went out early this morning to head for the office there was the fence in our nasty neighbours driveway so I just left - gave me peverse pleasure because he is such a revolting man.

Came home to find he had oh so kindly moved a lot of it onto our driveway - this is the fellow who prunes trees and tosses them over our fence instead of putting them in the green waste collections!  A real charmer.  Oh well, if that is all I have to complain about, we are not doing too badly lol.

Going to try and catch a few zzzzzzds to make up for those lost through the night then will face the fence issue more refreshed lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

Thanks Laney i'm a bit of a sook this time Woman Sad because it's out of the blue and

not in my future plans but we will deal with it.

My goodness your neighbour needs a stringers club visit to sort him out Woman LOL

Our fence actually fell into our driveway and from Connie next door the homeowner and

her friend moved it onto their driveway on Sunday. The Body Corporate will chase her up

for her share of the new fence.

Hope your nap was peaceful Woman Wink

Re: Round Table Revisited

yes it was out of the blue Freddie - 10 days away.

Hope you're taking things easy as you can and Mr Freddie is spoiling you

windy nights and fences... Laney I hope he only put  half the fence on your side...     Woman LOL

Freddie the colourbond fences are great - we had a fence fall down at our other house and replaced it with colourbond.. they look nice and they're so much more more durable. I don't know why we mostly use timber for fencing instead of colourbond now

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Deb yes the colourbond is much nicer and cleaner looking - the old paling fence was 26yrs old so

it done it's job well.

Mr F is a good man he looks after me well.

We are off for a walk to try and get this breathing better.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Evening again Ladies

Hope the walk this morning helped you Freddie.

Well, spoke to the fencing peeps today and our neighbour had also been onto them.  They were coming to remove the fallen fence and will replace it through the week.  Our 'delightful' neighbour was home at the time - we were both out working - we came home to find our driveway full of broken and smashed trellis, jasmine plants and bits of fence which for some reason the fencing guys had not removed .... I wonder why!

Oh well - tomorrow is another day and it really is not a life changing problem lol
