Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

@mtnlane

Delighted to read the news of Oaks successful operation - I suspect, like me, many posters who do not post on her 'home thread' were also holding their breaths waiting to hear.

only just read this Laney ........ what a lovely surprise Woman Happy  thank you very much for your well wishes

i sometimes forget that theres so many people reading my 'home' thread it's like im talking at the kitchen table

Re: Round Table Revisited

No problem 'letting it all out' oaks and I agree - it is just like sitting at your kitchen table sharing news of all descriptions- and your 'happy day' wishes just demonstrate your caring nature in the face of adversity Smiley Happy

Good morning Stringers and other friends too (you know who you are) ....... able or unable to post or choosing not to at the moment for whatever reasons.

More winter olympics (how is the knee Freddie?), more aching bones and muscles and amazing feats ..........

To be honest, I will be secretly pleased when they are finished and we can get things done around the place Smiley Embarassed

Another typically humid February day here but easier to deal with than the poor folks up around Broome at the moment.

Have a good one friends .........

Re: Round Table Revisited

What a week it has been ........

Almost to the end of the Winter Olympics so time to get out of the lycra, take the boots off and put the feet up for a while Smiley Surprised

Seriously, it has been enjoyable and the athletes deserve every accolade for just 'being there' no matter whether they won medals or not.  The spirit of camaraderie has been mostly evident also .......

Talking about spirit, we just had the St John Community Hero Awards here this week - gives reason to believe that we are not going to hell in a handbasket when we have such brave individuals in our community.  So much to be thankful for despite the doom and gloom of world events.

Interesting article on the ABC News Feed yesterday - perhaps not so interesting for some though Smiley Sad

Re: Round Table Revisited

Magic morning for the Rottnest Channel Swim this morning ...... some swimmers were taken out of the water because of a shark sighting!  Hope they are all safe although that might make some of the swimmers walk on water Smiley Wink

Talking about water is there something the matter with the water in South Australia?  That might explain some of the poor behaviour around the traps ....... although perhaps not!

The Commonwealth Games baton was carried through Freo this morning ...... kept clear of all that with all the 'positioning' by pollies which always goes with that sort of event.
