Glad to hear it Sandy, you'll both be looking forward to getting back home
not long to go now

Absent for a couple of days and what do I find when I get 'home'?
Sandy on her way home and Frank to follow at least to Coffs a couple of days later (really fantastic news) .....
Your Tigers beat Frank's Dons - well done on them though Deb .....
St. Kilda made a mammoth effort - sadly unsuccessful .....
WE play the revolting pies (no capital letter on purpose) today .... hoping for a win but that might be hoping against hope lol
Apart from that it is freezing here this weekend - and a long weekend to boot. It is WA Day tomorrow (the old Foundation Day) so no work for me. Quite happy to stay indoors in the warmth, looking 'sartorially inelegant' ..... heaven help anyone knocking on the door
Hope you are all having a happy weekend ........ how is your posterior going Freddie? Sure hope you will be all OK for your upcoming holiday.
Got a few emails to catch up on - will catch you all later today probably

how is your posterior going Freddie?
It's still there Laney - and i'm still carting it around behind me
It has improved slightly and no appt yet -
Thanks for caring about my posterior

It would be a greater worry if you were not still carting it around Freddie
Great news from you Sandy - a Rolls Royce journey home (well almost home) for Frank - no more than he deserves either. So happy for you all
Storms and rain continue here in the wonderful west - I am not complaining. Neither am I complaining about our captain getting sanctioned (not that I believe he deserved it) but I am laughing at the Grandstand boys and their conspiracy theories about t'othersider bias
Have been catching a bit of Masterchef - enjoying it actually. I know it is not a beauty contest but Hoda has the most beautiful face and smile - such a gentle persona. Should be more like her around.
For those who watch the thugby - enjoy the State of Origin ....... holds no interest for us here.

Some days logging in is cause for celebration!
Today is one of those days ...........
To read ooaks' absolutely fantabulous news just now is definitely cause for such celebration
Really fantastic ooaks and thank you for sharing your journey - the ups and the downs - with us all. You have been amazing throughout!
Now Sandy we are waiting for news of Frank's safe return for a double celebration
....and then a butt report from that naughty monkey Freddie
on 07-06-2018 07:27 PM
Butt report haha!!
Frank is back in Coffs - yay . Haven't been home long - he's in Baringa Private hospital which is more like a motel and visiting is unlimited. Had Milla from 2.30 and after being with Frank, we went and picked James up, took him to iano lessons then back to see Pop. Frank is very emotional and just cried as he hugged them. We ended up getting Maccas (tsk tsk) and had dinner with him.
The hosoital is wondering why he was sent there as he doesn't need rehab. They said they would keep him in overnight and check him out in the morning and he may come home - if not, it will be Saturday. So good to have him close.
Off to read Ooaks report. x

My heart almost bursts to read your post Sandy - I can feel the happiness in every word!
Now please look after yourself as well ........ sleep well, goodnight

i think it will take a while to sink in and calm down

Despite celebrating all the good news here, there are some dreadful events in the news these past days.
Those poor people in Guatemala ...... in Hawaii too! Having to deal with what nature has thrown at them
In Carlingford (Sydney) a young lad of five killed by his father
A plane crash in Moorabbin which killed the pilot
Sorry to bring folks down by posting this but it seems insensitive not to at least recognise that these events hjave occurred.
Everything else pales into insignificance ..........
Stay safe friends and look forward to your happy weekends ~~~~~ to those here or not posting at the moment
