Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Freddie,

I completely forgot to say that I read your posts when you were looking after your Princess and they warmed my heart to see the care and love you gave her.  A wonderful opportunity to repay that which they gave us throughout our lives and I know you felt that also.

So many occupants of those homes never felt that love or care - having been dumped there for convenience on many occasions - and the body language of some rellies who visited spoke so clearly of their desire not to be there and that they were just visiting out of obligation.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Just heart breaking to see the footage from residents families -

I wanted to put a camera in my Mums room after her lockable

draw had been jemmied open - I was told it was illegal to have

a camera in residents rooms - I wish I had taken that directive

further - The good think was Mum was still as sharp as me and

knew what was going on. I caught a little of the Joanna Lumley

doco some amazing scenery - I love her speaking voice Woman Very Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

We were Laney exactly - My dear old Dad never wanted to go

into care - he passed as a fit 81yr old - I often tormented him

asking him how he was going to get up and down the stairs

in their home when he was unable to get about - he told me

he would make a bed downstairs and live down there Woman LOL

I would never have allowed him to go into care - and he knew that Woman Very Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Freddie

Today is 'S' day or rather tonight is 'S' night .... will be 'interesting'.

Awoke to wet paths this morning - must have been a good sleep as I heard nothing.  Put paid to our gardening plans until everything dries out but the garden certainly is smiling.

Have the 'I dunnos' today ..... don't know whether to go to the movies or not.  Want to go and see 'Ladies in Black' as I have heard great reports of the film.  My sister's first Christmas holiday job was in the toy department at David Jones (I recall her describing some of the difficult parcels she had to wrap) and she saw so much of her time there in the movie.

Anyway, we will decide in the fullness of time lol

Have happy days my friends ..... take care ~~~~~

Parts of it were filmed at May Gibb's house right near here at Kurraba Point.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Debra and Kopes

Just in case I do not get in tomorrow (we have a heap of other stuff happening here in Freo tomorrow) wanted to wish you 'Happy Grand Final Friday' as I think it is a public holiday over there.

Hope you enjoy the GF on Saturday and good luck to your boys TGSE.

Freddie - same for your boys on Sunday although I expect to be back here before then (hopefully) anyway.

Ok...........what is everyones predicition for tomorrow.

I dont care who wins.......as long as the margin is either 82-36-60-67.

Our daughter talked me into buy the last four margin tickets for her work

Freddie................hubby parents were lucky enough live all their lives at home..............both living into their 90's.
