Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Deb Smiley LOL

Just back from a few days down south - beautiful weather and good eating.  Visited the Field of Light again - 16000 spheres light up each evening - each sphere represents four soldiers who did not return.  They change colour - yellow, green, a dusty pinkish colour - the colours of wattle and the NZ Kowhai.

Countryside looking lovely down there and good crops being harvested.

Went to Denmark - fantastic bakery there and berry farms.  Strawberries were enormous, juicy and sweet - they are too big to fit into regular containers so are rejected and sold cheaply Smiley Surprised

Blueberries, raspberries (red and white), blackberries, loquats ..... salivating at remembering them.

Good to be home and in own bed though.

Hope all Christmas preparations going well for you all.

Santa would have approved of me Freddie Smiley Wink

~~~~~to my special friends~~~~~
Will be back tomorrow ........
Hiya oaks Smiley Happy
Bakeries/berry farms/bliss!
We had to go to a work related Christmas party last evening.  Am long past queueing for ordinary mass produced buffet meals, too-loud music (we were seated right beside the 'band') and alcohol fuelled small talk with folks we have little in common with.
A grinch you say? Yup and happy to have reached the age to be one Smiley LOL
A quiet, reflective day today ..................
Re: Round Table Revisited
Any 'trouble' I got into was a very long time ago oaks Smiley Embarassed
Funny thing was that it was not considered 'trouble' then - just hi-jinks and fun!
Life experience has since intervened though and I can look back with some horror but also wry amusement - not only at myself but at/with others - fortunate to all have escaped unscathed Smiley Wink
Typical summer afternoon here - high blue sky and sunshine and the ABC cricket commentary just a low hum in the background.  Pleasant ........
Re: Round Table Revisited
I did, it was incredible.
I know where the saying 'Fire in the sky' comes from.
First time for me as well to see the sky so red in a 360 degree view.
Re: Round Table Revisited
my hubby was out on westernport bay (from Hastings)  and he took a couple of  photos... the clouds were very low and the sun had a huge orange aura around it.
it was eerie the orange light
