Your dinner sounds so good laney. Love seafood and so fresh in the summer heat.
We're supposed to have 26 on Christmas Day and low wind so that will be perfect beside the water.
Bought all my berries this evening - raspberries only $3 and some large cherries. We don't have to
do much tomorrow which s good.
Have a lovely evening entertaining tonight and enjoy your Christmas. xx

Good afternoon friends
Magic day here - slight breeze, high blue sky and sunshine.
Decided not to frustrate ourselves listening to the cricket so got into the garden to achieve at least something lol.
Just heard the cheers - wow - it is all happening at the MCG now!
All happening over here too - Federer is 'in the house' - he has been up at the Pinnacles doing some promotion for WA.
Hopman Cup starts tomorrow - heralds the start of the Aussie summer tennis season
Hope all well - whether you are gardening, eating, cooking or just enjoying time with family and friends
Will pop back before the end of the year

~~~~ to Sandy ~~~~
Did I see you had been up to the Promised Land? Love it. love it, love it up there. Were you floating on the Never Never River?
Didn't run into George Negus or David Helfgott did you?
Took me back to many happy times up there around Bellingen - and around the Macleay too. When we were holidaying at Stuart's Point and Yarrahapinni we used to go up to Bellbrook (on the Macleay) and on the way, swim at the Tarooka Crossing ....... have just been journeying back in time with photographs
There used to be a rough road from Bellingen across to Bowraville but I suspect after the heavy rain the area has experienced in past few years it may now be impassable. Could be worth enquiring locally though Sandy - it is very pretty.
Thanks for prompting me to reflect Sandy
Hi Laney
Frank has his eyes glued to the cricket as well laney. Funny test at the moment.
Yes, we went for a drive to "The Promised Land" and found a river - we presume it was the Never Never River but a very nice spot. Kim had bought the kids those shoes to wear in the water so the rocks didn't bother them and they loved it - they are wanting to go back again. We need to do a bit more investigating, There is a lovely photo of a swimming pool underneath one of the falls. Thursday we just asked at a shop in Bello which way to go and just drove in the direction they told us - out through Gillifer.
Waves to Deb. Wondering how the teo kittens you found are going. I would love a cat when we move but there are so many birds. The only thing I could do is get Frank to build a large cage.
Enjoy your day everyone.
Hi Sandy. they are going very well, they still have a couple of their 'feral' tendencies though and are a bit skittish around strangers.
they don't catch many birds but I'm always on the lookout.. if they do catch one.. I just turn the hose on them and they drop it instantly. I've had a very high success rate there
