Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Yep, Alex De Minaur and John Millman are the only male Aus hopes in tennis this season as far as I am concerned.

Forget the rest. Smiley Wink

Re: Round Table Revisited

A very quick good morning to friends here Smiley Happy

Sandy I wanted to give you the heads up about a programme on the ABC last evening - Escape from the City.  It is a direct copy of Escape to the Country but produced in Australia and last night the search was focused on Bello (Bellingen for those who may not know the area), Glenifer and Urunga.  I am sure you would be interested and it is available on iview.

Back later ...... sport permitting Smiley Wink

Hope all well and dealing with the vagaries of our weather - another lovely cool day here Smiley Happy

Sport did not permit Smiley Embarassed

I forgot how engrossed we get during the summer tennis season.  The Hopman Cup finals, although a slightly different format, were the most exciting matchs we have seen in a very long time.  Was happy about the Swiss result.

Then the Brisbane International, now the Sydney International and then the big one in Melbourne.  Forget about the cricket - we gave up listening.

We have had some hot weather but nothing like elsewhere and I hear that the eastern states have been having some incredible storms.  The rain would be nice thought and I bet the gardens are smiling.

Not staying long tonight - just wanted to pop in and wave to friends (you know who you are) posting or not.  Hope the New Year is treating you all well health wise and happiness wise.  Take care ............. Heart

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Deb

It really was a rhetorical question but thanks for the link anyway Smiley Happy

I have never seen 'banana blossoms' for sale in my local greengrocer's shop - just been watching too much tennis and the all too frequent advertisements for UBER eats with Leyton Hewitt Smiley LOL

Well we have Alex de Minaur and Ash Barty in the finals of the Sydney International tonight.  Felt so very sorry for Gils Simon in that heat to which he is unaccustomed.  He looked like he was going to burst a blood vessel he was so red.  Stilla great sportsman for continuing to try.
