Thought I might show off my special duffle coat.

Hi Nics
Hope you have your duffle coat on NOW!!!!!
We had a good game - not the result we wanted but in the scheme of things and in the world today - it does not much matter 😃
Got to watch Stage 6 of Le Tour Femme which was enjoyable too - only a couple more days to go 🙁. At least our sleep patterns might improve then .
Rained most of the day - after a very busy week I did not need any excuse to stay in and chill out. Did get out and squash some of those hairy caterpillars though - how dare they attack our new lemon trees!!! The lime tree is jam packed with blossom and even some new developing limes already. Looks like we are in for a fantastic season ... great for all our Thai cooking 🤣
Enjoy the match Nics. ~~~~~ waves to Kopes - hope all well with you.

Another disappointing weekend re football. St Kilda seem to know what to do. Sorry about your Dockers Laney, and good luck Kopes with your tigers.

Hi Nics
Well - it is almost all out of our hands now and we will have to rely on others results (except for the very last game next Sunday). Such is life 😀
Le Tour Femme is over too - pleased with the result!
More rain all week - work for me though so I will not be troubled about it - except for the drive to and from the office. The sandgropers are appalling drivers - selfish and so inconsiderate - you would think merging was a word that was not in their lexicon 😃
Have a good week Nics. Kopes I know you are disappointed with your Tigers this season. Do hope you are OK though!!!
I have a birthday wish for a great friend tomorrow - happy day to you ~~~~~~~~~

Well here we are at the last weekend of the home and away - a nerve-wracking weekend for us 🤔
Busy week, stormy night improving now. Lets hope tomorrow is better here in the wonderful west!
Almost at the end of the cycling season too - at least for the BIG races. Been enjoying the 2024 Vuelta a España but the coverage is not as good as Le Tour - just my opinion of course.
Enjoy your weekend friends - stay warm and dry 🤗 ~~~~~~

All the best for Dockers today Laney. Very happy with Geelong and no way did I think they would thrash the eagles like they did. After todays game the finals begin. In all honesty I don`t think we will go far more if we manage to meet hawthorn.( I detest that team with a vengeance)
We had thunderstorms & lightning the other night and I was so scared that the power might have gone out!
Just about to head out to get some groceries. Have a great day.
Kopes you ok?

What an exhausting weekend ‼️
The results for the Dockers were disappointing - particularly having to wait until the very last match of the home and away - but in the scheme of things there are plenty more things to be concerned about.
Glad to see at least one of our teams in the 8 🤣
Work for me this week - then back into the Vuelta for a week and keeping eye on the US Open also. Our boys are doing well so far. I saw Daria Saville's appalling behaviour when she lost her match - gosh I hate to see that. Its does nothing to promote tennis at all 😠
Good to see you Kopes - was getting a little concerned about your well-being.
Looks like you Victorians are going to get hit with some nasty weather - stay safe friends ~~~~~

Nice to have a couple of days without too much rain here 😀
The bindii eyes and weeds in general have been taking a hit!!!
Lots of little johnny jump ups poking their pretty blue and yellow faces up!
A quiet weekend ahead without any football. Still enjoying the Vuelta for another week and a sandgroper is leading in the red jersey. Ben O'Connor is a delightful young man too - always with a smile on his face.
We had what could have been a disaster here in Fremantle this morning when a huge container ship shepherded by three or four big tugs entering the port was apparently caught by a huge gust of strong wind and wiped out all the masts on the tall ship Leeuwin and damaged part of the Maritime Museum walls as well. Fortunately no damage to the Leeuwin below the waterline though but it means we will be without it for quite some months 😥
I hope your weather has eased a bit and that you have a good weekend ahead planned.
