Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Stringers

Afternoon everyone

Beautiful day here and OH is much better wooo hooo !! He's cleaned the pool and is blasting all the burnt cane **bleep** off the roff areas, guess he'll want lunch soon....wonder what he'll make me lol

The frog was terrible so I'm going to do him in soft pastyels instead...at least I know how to use them unlike the stoopid water colours and inks that have been driving me crazy.

Not into footy but congrats to those who are.

Any plans for the day ? A relaxing arvo outside in the shade with a book etc sounds like a good idea or a walk along the beach ?  Hope the day is lovely wherever you are.

Good luck with the new frog, Soul.  I hope he doesn't get binned too Smiley Very Happy

Good luck Deb.  The game has just started here but I don't know if we have delayed coverage.  This is unbelievable.  I am here alone this afternoon and I've got the bloomin' footy on!

Re: Stringers

We went on a picnic lunch to Richmond today..............it was good fun.

No little children with us for a change..............just three of our big kids...............not that you would have been able to tell they were grown up if you saw them in the lollie shop..............and then had to listen to them playing corners in theh car on the way home...................squishing each other............Cat Very Happy

Re: Stringers

You have obviously instilled in them the same sense of fun you have Flashie Smiley LOL

Was the weather perfect for a picnic?  Did you wander through any cemeteries?

Love Richmond - have a watercolour here which I fell in love with when I visited there, did not buy it and then had to go back a couple of days later when it's image would not leave my mind.  I was lucky that it was still there lol

Re: Stringers

We picnicked under the bridge.........and I could see a cemetery on the hill in the distance.............but sadly our sons do not share my love of these places............so I could only look from a distance.

We got a bit of a giggle from this family that hired a row boat and were happily drifting down the river throwing bread to the ducks as they went.............like they did not have a care in the world.................forgetting that they would have to row back to give the boat back..........they looked a little puffed out.

The boys played football on the common while our daughter and I looked in the teddy shop........they even had golliwogs in there.............(I thought they were considered politically incorrect these days)

The football got stuck up in the tree.............then so did hubby..........while his two brave sons literally were rolling around the ground laughing at him.Cat Surprised

Re: Stringers

Hahaha that's really funny.  It sounds like it was a really good day.  I hope you didn't forget to tell us it was your birthday or something?

Re: Stringers

Well, it could still go any way. A lot of free kicks in the first half, the other team will have to learn not to play so dirty lol
