Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Stringers

Mornin all

Wish I could grow some of the cooler weather flowers.....I loved seeing all the daffoldils etc in Perth...but I suppose being able to grow the more tropical types is good, too.

OH was home for a few days so I haven't been on the computer much....andeventhough I just read a few pages, I can't remember what I read.....so, hope everyone is well.

Having the first of a few Christmas lunches today. Wont be sitting outside though as once again it's blowing a gale.....really wish the wind would bleep off.

Fatcatruby chased a huge eastern brown snake straight towards the house on the weekend AAARRGH!!  Can't believe she wasn't bitten, very lucky.  It took ages to "encourage" it to slither away into the mac farm.

Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend?

Re: Stringers

Good morning Stringers 🙂

We had a brown in my garden the other day, soul. My visitor nearly walked on it so I blamed him for not mowing the lawn. I have a lot of frogs so the snakes come to eat them. I like frogs and snakes, but not when the snakes bite.

Recently I had a stand off with a beautiful red bellied black snake. I was walking through an empty block and the snake didnt know whether to attack or escape....and neither did I. I stood still, amazed by its bright red belly, while the snake hissed and writhed, trying to get through a brick fence. Eventually it found an escape route and we went on our way.

So Stringers, who is coming to stay? I'll shortly be ordering 8 cubic metres of veggie soil, 2 cubic metres of sand and 10 bales of mulch - someone needs to fill up those garden beds.

Re: Stringers

Hi Debra, I don't particularly like snakes either but they don't usually scare me etc. but this one was Huge ! and I was worried about ruby, so had to go outside to pick her up.  The snake was pretty agro becasue of being chased and they move so fast I was a little unnerved by it.

Re: Stringers

haha! think there are snakes everywhere Debra, just don't see them often.  We don't see as many here, eventhough we're surrounded by farm land, as our last house.  A monster python/carpet snake tried to eat bella whne we lived there !!  It came back later that day, right to the sceen door trying to find her again ! I bring the cats in about 5/6 pm and they stay in at night, bella started acting weird and her fur was standing on end, when I turned the outside light on, there was the snake !  Really beautiful colouring but I was glad we didn't have a cat flap ! lol

Well, better get motivated, looking forward to lunch. catch up later.

Re: Stringers

If I saw a snake near me I would break the four minute mile in the opposite direction.

I have managed more than half of my cooking for tomorrows market...............just got to melt and remold some more chocolates....................they are looking good.

I hope it all sells...................but then I know it would all get eaten here if I had to bring it all back home............well maybe not all the apple/onion chutney.

It is a strange day here............dark and showery...........windy................but warmish too...............well 16 degrees here is warmish.

Re: Stringers

Sixteen degrees is not warmish!

I'm doing a Karen trick.  I was out and now I'm in and soon I am going out again and then I will be in for a little while and then I've got to go out and then I will be home for the night.

We have only had one snake in the house and that was a baby dugite in the laundry but the screaming made it run away.  Oh, and a dead bloated one in the swimming pool filter basket.

You are going to have to hide those chocolates well Flashie.  Actually, you had better get your husband to hide them so you can't get to them either.
