Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringers 🙂

Did not get back last night - all that fresh air and sunshine did me in lol

Hi Iza - hope things are looking up for you and that your week is a good one Smiley Happy

j*oono - it really is a relaxing place - quite often we do not go ashore though.  Some days I wonder why people venture on those ferries on rough days - the trip can be pretty rugged.  I took my sister on one years ago and could almost see her turning green Smiley Surprised

On the really bad days, at least they cancel the ferries lol

Karen you have enthused me with your soil moving - we are ordering bulk mulch this week ........ how are your shovelling skills now?

Re: Round Table Revisited

The trouble is Laney that you can't be sure of the weather and the swell when you book your accommodation.  We just got unlucky.  We went across fairly early in the morning and ours was the last boat and they had to cancel the rest.  I'm lucky I don't get sea sick but it was like being in a washing machine in the lower deck.

Did you ever watch the Castaway with Tom Hanks and he had that basketball called Wilson.  Well, as we were climbing up the stairs to get off the boat, someone in front of us had a tennis racquet in a Wilson racquet bag.  The boys started yelling out Wiiiiiiilllllsoooooooon!

I missed the part where you were on your own boat.  Lucky you!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Too true about being able to predict the weather when you book - unless you have a hot line to the gods lol

OMG - you were on the lower deck!  We were sitting out the back upstairs - my sister holding onto the rail like a vice whilst her daughter and I were quite enjoying the sea spray and salt air lol.

Not for long - the boat is going j*oono!  Reminds me of two sayings: that a boat is a hole in the water into which you pour money and the two best days for a boat owner are the day you buy it and the day you sell it Smiley LOL

Didn't make the gym this morning - better get digging in the garden to compensate.  Was hoping to put Karen's shovel skills to use here but she must still be getting her 'supplies' lol

Hope you managed to get your Sunday fry-up yesterday Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

I got my new card, hooray... Then ran to the smoke shop and the lady know me so she had my smokes on the counter by the time I'd got there...I guess she saw me on my way 😄

It's the ;\ mod, Joono. ;\

Re: Round Table Revisited

The trick to shovelling, Laney, is bend your knees unless you don't like your back lol

I have magic soil. It doesn't seem to matter how much I shovel, the pile never seems to disappear. Today I'm going to shrink it considerably, because I just bought some trees to plant.

I finally got my ;\ tree. Not sure whether to name it the ;\ tree, or after the unfair mod....or the tony abbott tree 😄

Nah, the ;\ tree covers all options, so that's its name. I also got passionfruit and ordered a lime tree. They had miniature avocados but I'm not sure whether they need a lot of humidity. I love avocados.

Re: Round Table Revisited

hi Karen, we're back at home now, it wasn't really a night out, but a night away. We are both nice and relaxed . but we would've slept better if we'd noticed the window of our motel room was open all night lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

When you say a miniature avocado tree, do you mean the tree is small or the fruit is?  IGA had little miniature avocados a while back.  They were so good because you didn't get the wastage.

Re: Round Table Revisited

It's a miniature tree with normal sized fruit, apparently. I'm tempted to get one because avocados, like ;\ lemons, are one of the things price fixed by the supermarkets.

Deb was it cold? It's was so hot here last night...at the shop everyone was whining about it lol. You're lucky to get away for a short break 🙂
