Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I love the sound of a full church...from a distance. My mother used to watch church on ABC and I sometimes listen still. The hymns remind me of school.

I went to the butcher today to buy chicken and asked him if it had lived in a cage...and he said yes, so I chose lamb...then he tried to convince me it was a big cage that chooks like lol. I kept saying no, I don't want to eat something that has lived a miserable life, then he tried to convince me the HUGE cages were out in the sunshine with grass to peck. Yeah right haha! I got no chook...dunno where to buy happy chook meat, dammit.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Btw Flashie, tea is a perfectly normal and correct word to describe the evening meal. Dinner means the main meal, I think, used to be used in England to describe lunch. Only wannabe betterthantheyare people fuss about thing like that. Probably affected.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Some of those big poultry companies claim that their chickens are not caged, but they're lying. Not sure what's for dinner here yet. OH is asleep ATM, still recovering from the big Sat. night I think

Re: Round Table Revisited

Yes, well this isn't England & who cares, dinner, tea whatever.

High Teas are all the rage in Melb. ATM.

We have high teas on the high seas 🙂

Sometimes we've been on the boat on Cup Day & you see all sorts of funny sights, like people dressed as Vikings rowing their way down the river to Flemington.

The river is probably the best way to get to & from the races

Re: Round Table Revisited

I'd love to go to the Melbourne cup one day...not to see the race cos I don't like animals racing...but to see the antics. I'd also love to go to the Aus Open.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I've been to Derby Day a few times .Karen, but not the Cup, it's lots of fun, but we still watched the race on TV in the tents which was a bit weird, lol.

The Australian Open is fun for the atmosphere when an Aussie is playing,
