Thankfully, no weddings...my friends are too old, but I have been to a couple of very good divorce parties over the years lol

I was just having a laugh with my neighbour. He fed the birds before I moved in and I've made it much worse. He said the electrician came to his house the other day and a flock of about 100 birds took off from my trees and frightened the bejeezus out of him haha.

Who was that bird expert who posted here once or twice? I would like to ask them about weaning hand fed pet wild birds... They're really tame and I want them to get out there and feed themselves, instead of clinging to my screen door and screaming at me to bring banana 😄

I think I mentioned before that we have a whole gang of magpies who come onto our back verandah in varying numbers at all hours of the day demanding to be fed.  Mr Elephant went out there the other day, noticed a couple of maggies hanging around hopefully and came back inide to get the mince out of the fridge. By the time he returned one cheeky fella had flown in through the open door and was perched on the back of a dining room chair looking round as if to say, 'What's taking you so long.' He let Mr Elephant walk right past him then followed him back out onto the verandah. I guess we should just think ourselves lucky he didn't leave a little calling card behind.

Haha she ele, that is so cool! I love magpies, but I don't feed them because they eat the other birds' eggs. Magpies are so smart, like ravens/crows.

Gee that's bad news about more Qantas jobs going. Not too sure about the current management

Yeah, terrible time of year to announce job losses. I wonder why big corporations always seem to do it at this time of year.

The CEO apparently took a pay cut, but I bet he's still earning a ridiculous amount. I have a heap of rellos who work for qantas as pilots...they have superiority attitudes....this'll bring them down a notch 😄
