Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Oh dear.  cracking up Smiley Very Happy

You might be ok in the shops tomorrow Karen.  The supermarket was very busy today, in fact I think most people shopped today rather than having to do it on Christmas Eve.  It could well be a quiet shop tomorrow.

I was a bit surprised by the price of Strawberries today.  I'm sure they had doubled the price from last week.  Also, I was annoyed when I heard the store manager instructing the veggie stacker person to mark down all of the bagged salad goods that were about to pass their use by and clear them away before restocking with the fresh ones.  Especially the ones that expire on the 24th.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Also he ate at least a kilogram of chocolate...and the more distressed he became about my wrong word, the faster he ate them lol. He was funny...nice man, just seems to totally focus on one issue at a time...ie me.

I hope the shop isn't too crowded, but it's ok, I'll take my patience and smile with me...and if anyone forgets theirs, I'll have a trolley for their shins.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Everyone Smiley Happy

That's funny Karen.I do get what you mean.So small a thing and yet even some who 'can'  choose to ignore don't make that choice. They'd give you a hard time just for the fun of it.Joyful, positive people they are not.

Yesterday I had a difficult and extremely unwell bloke who wouldn't hear what I said to calm him down rip my hair out, bite my hand.tear my top, toss my mobile away and push me around. He was terrified of invisible things.Heartbreaking and frightening it was.As mad as it sounds all my of family are better off/safer right now for that experience. It is a good thing Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Merry Christmas, Nics...I hope Santa is good to those gorgeous grandies of yours 🙂

The bloke at the party was nice, except he wouldn't let go of the word I'd said.

That incident doesn't sound good, but if you insist it was I'll believe you 😄

Re: Round Table Revisited

Ok that makes sense...it's a bit awful that help isn't easily available and you have to go through all that. I hope everything is settled now.
