Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Sorry Laney I hadn't peeped in here for a bit - washing curtains and

finding the whip to keep Mr F inline takes up spare time Woman LOL

I'm not sure where you are describing but not Cundletown/Taree we

do have a big oyster which was a bit of a flop and is now being used

as a caryard. Can you see me sliding down that staircase railing? Yes

I did do that Woman LOL The home and Post Office has been on the market

for some time now - must be the PO business stalling the sale - uncertainty

with the business could possibly cast doubt for some. It's a beautiful old home

and the area being so close to the coast and handy to local beaches you would

think would be in favour. Mr F's NRL rooster boys moved up the ladder to the top

rung on the week end - so happy faces here Woman LOL

Hey Freddie!

Sliding down the railing?  Yep I can just see the monkey in you doing that kiddo ......... beats a snake in the grass Smiley Wink

Don't remember a big oyster there - must be mistaken about my recollection but I sure remember someone else's speeding fines Smiley Mad

Worked yesterday - not my old job but a new venture.  The rest of the week is mine to enjoy - his nibs has some other commitments but thats ok too as he enjoys them.

Waiting for a friend to pop in for an afternoon cuppa - in the meantime I have been despatching the interminable weeds poking their noses up between the paving on the pack patio ..... boiling water works well.

Great to read Sandy's good report - I received a few good results this week but nowhere near as good as Sandy's.  Well done YOU!!!!

Best put the kettle on for coffee now and not weeds.  Catch up ...............

Thanks laney - very pleased with my efforts the last 4 weeks but still find it hard to believe the average was 7.  Wasn't about to argue with him though Smiley LOL  Main thing is all the organs were OK.

Kim makes a good lasagna freddie - doesn't put the bechamel sauce on top because Matt doesn't like it.  Must get her to make one soon.

There is a lot of speed cameras arounds Coffs - I am very aware of them.  One day I was daydreaming in one of the more prolific areas then hoped I wasn't speeding.  No ticket arrived so I must have been OK.  I use the cruise control now.

Still searching for somewhere to live but did get our evacuation notice today Smiley Sad.  The RE agent we're with messaged Kim today and said she has her eye on one and the owners only want to lease for 3 months.  Fingers crossed.

I've been in the garden today laney - need to tidy it up so thought I would start.  We have 5 round privets here that has sprouted quite a lot so have done 4 of the 5.  Frank mowed for the first time today with no probs.

Hi Girls/Ladies/Friends Smiley Happy

Had hoped to complete a final 'project' for my previous employers by now but was hit with a power outage most of the day yesterday.  Difficult to get the mojo back under these circumstances ..... trying ..... VERY!

Caught up with a friend for coffee the other day and she re-energised me with respect to this project so I agreed to support it one last time ... and I mean last.  It has been like Damocles sword hanging over my head and I will really be pleased to put it behind me.

Lasagna Freddie?  The August Westerlies are with us, hence I didn't get a whiff - more is the pity.

Sandy that is an awful feeling when you think you might have inadvertently been photographed.  I received a love letter in the mail with a huge fine one day!  I was absolutely confident that I had not been speeding so we went into Wellington Street in the city to look at the photograph.  They had made a mistake and fined the wrong car/driver.  No apology from them but I was just relieved that we had taken the time to query it otherwise i would have had to pay the rather large fine and wear the demerit points. Smiley Mad

Hope the search for short term rental is bringing you some results Sandy.  Good to read that the build is going ahead in leaps and bounds - an exciting but stressful time for you all as you question your choices etc.  Have faith Sandy - I am sure it is going to be wonderful.

I see you and oaks' daughter are having a race Smiley LOL

Interesting weekend coming up in the AFL.  Frank's team against Deb and Kopes' team ....... I am staying out of it Smiley Embarassed

Back to the grindstone for now - will definitely catch up over the weekend.  Hope everything going well in your worlds ~~~~~

I enjoyed that match Kopes.. Essendon played well and didn't tire out in the last quarter.  They're a good team... nice to see Dusty get his groove back.. good goals crom Caddy and a quiet night for Jack (who's wanting to get his 600th  goal)

Good game Deb & kopes.  Frank was happy with the bombers - they played a good game against the top team.  Good on the tigers - we are both hoping they win the flag again now.

We are gardening at the moment - getting that looking spiff then we'll concentrate on the inside.  The ground is hard as rocks at the moment and it takes some elbow hrease getting the weeds out.

House is coming along laney - windows are in and tiles going on.  Hope it doesn't get windy over he weekend - little piles of tiles all over the roof except for the bit they've done.
